The Retreat program:
Your retreat will start with an in-depth interview in order to get a clear picture of your life domains. Enjoy the infinity pool, have a drink in the ocean view cabanas or enjoy a relaxing Balinese massage overlooking the sea. Official Launching of the retreat by participating in the Balinese offer ritual, for the gods as a form of gratitude. The offering is called canang or canang sari. It is a part of the Balinese Hinduism ritual for daily prayers. Continue your day by awakening your body with a yoga & meditation session. Feel the ocean breeze caressing your skin & overlook the sea while making space in your body and mind. Enjoy your delicious dinner, accompanied by local musicians in a group or in the privacy of yourself in the grill house by the sea.
Visit the best-kept secret of Bali: Menjangan Island. Be amazed by the underwater world & colourful corals during the snorkelling experience. Have your pick nick with the unforgettable view: overlooking the volcanos of Yava! Menjangan Island is a tiny island off the northwest coast of Bali. The island sits in Bali Barat National Park, which is a protected marine reserve. Menjangan’s beautiful and unspoilt marine landscapes make it a popular spot among divers and snorkelers. Creatures which inhabit the waters around the island include hawksbill turtles, garden eels and manta rays. On dry land, the island is home to a herd of deer – the island’s name translates as ‘Deer Island’. Enjoy the delicious organic food, and travel to the most beautiful and biggest Buddhist temple in Bali. You’ll stand at the gates to heaven, where on the one side you’ll see the ocean by your feet and on the inside, Bali’s largest Buddhist monastery on the other side. Brahmavihara-Arama, is located up in the hills of Banjar. The monastery covers a hectare of the hillside, with numerous meditation rooms, libraries, beautiful gardens, and an impressive mini replica of the world’s largest Buddhist archaeological site, Borobudur.
Those who dare, are invited to the most famous Aling Aling waterfalls. Here you can let your adrenaline rush with cliff jumping and sliding One of north Bali’s most striking waterfalls, Aling-Aling tumbles around 98 feet (30 meters) down a cliff in a twin stream. Aling-Aling is sacred, so it’s forbidden to swim in the pool, but around it, several smaller waterfalls offer adventurers cliff jumps and natural slides. Wake up just before sunrise to catch this once-in-a-lifetime moment. A little fishing boat will bring you to where the wild dolphins live. See the beauty of the sunrise on the beach Lovina and see wild dolphins that swim freely in the ocean. Explore the Balinese way of life. Follow farmers’ trails through terraced rice paddies and observe them working their crops the traditional way. People involved in agriculture from around the world have come to Bali to observe the traditional irrigation system, “Subak”.
Lose yourself in Bali’s northern wilderness as you search for the majestic Sekumpul Waterfalls. The name means ‘grouped together’ in Bahasa, referring to seven great cascades of up to 80 meters high nestled in the heart of a lush jungle. Hike to the bottom of the falls, where you can wade in the rock pools. Along the way, you will discover local flora and fauna such as cacao, lemongrass, and coffee. You will cross rivers on wooden bridges, rice paddies, and hundreds of steps to hidden temples in the midst of the undergrowth.
