The European Women’s Association participated in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting taking place in Davos, Switzerland on 16-20 January, 2023.
The main subject of the discussion was “Cooperation in a Fragmented World” which calls for collective actions. Influential leaders from government, business, and civil society were addressing the state of the world and discussed priorities for the year ahead.
EWA invited its Premium members to participate in this important event. Yulia Stark spoke at the panel on new leadership alongside with the EWA distinguished guests Dr. Christina Rahm, Founder of the ROOT Brands, Nicole Stott, NASA Astronaut, Cherie Blair, Founder of The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and leading King’s Counsel.
According to the EWA President, “female leadership is oftentimes more about certain traits like emotional intelligence, next generation vision, collaboration and ecosystems. Implementing more of these qualities will benefit everyone on this planet.”
WEF 2023 is a top-level event facilitating the process of connecting to international professionals in order to make an impact together at a greater scale. Bringing together world leaders and increasing global connectivity, the event provided a multi-sector forum to promote the values of innovation, equality and inclusive growth.
